PRIVACY POLICY

SSC acknowledges and respects the privacy of its Members. 

Information may be collected for the purposes of processing Membership applications, and to keep Members informed of matters relating to the Club and assisting the Club in improving its service to Members. The provision of information is voluntary, but if such information is not provided, SSC may be unable to process Membership applications. 

Members have a right of access to, and alteration of, personal information concerning themselves in accordance with the Articles. The information collected will be held by SSC in a secure manner and will not be disclosed to other than the elected members of the SSC committee. No personal address information will be published. No information will be provided to third party organisations without the express permission of the member. 

Credit Card information, if provided for purchases, is not held by the club or the financial provider and is used by the third party transaction house for the purposes of any financial transaction for the express purpose of the transaction entered into at the time.

Financial Racing Member names, dates of birth, addresses and contact details may be made available to Australian Sailing if required to cover Membership obligations of those two organisations. Please refer to Australian Sailing's privacy policy. 

Information from prospective club hires, enquirers and casual sailors is retained as private and confidential for use by the executive committee and will not be resold, used for marketing or otherwise disposed of without permission.
